Joe Biden's foreign policies have 'no such firepower at all' compared to Donald Trump's

Former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says US President Joe Biden is seen as an ageing man who "really needs his wife to look after him".

This comes after the Taliban retook Kabul, the Afghan capital, in three days following the withdrawal of US and allied troops from the country.

"Biden said I am going to pull the troops out [from Afghanistan] by the anniversary of 9/11 – what on earth would he really create that image in his mind," Ms Bishop said.

"That would spur the Taliban on to make sure they conquered the nation back before that date."

Ms Bishop said former President Donald Trump told the Taliban "We will bring a force on you that you have never seen the likes of yet".

She said Joe Biden has "no such firepower at all".

"The man is seen as an ageing man who really needs his wife to look after him."
