🍺Appearance
* Color - Golden Copper
* Clarity - Very clear
* Carbonation - Decent amount of carbonation
* Foam retention - HUGE head of foam and retention (60+ seconds)
🍺Aroma
* Bready malts
* Spice undertones in the aromas (cloves?)
🍺Flavor and aftertaste
* Starts syrupy malts with a slight sweetness
* Creamy maltiness towards the middle
* Ends with just a hint of hoppiness that balances the malts perfectly
🍺Body
* Medium body
* Crisp finish!
🍺🍴Pairings
As a general rule, Marzen/Octoberfest beers are good to pair with grilled, roasted and smoked meats and bratwurst because of their toasty malt base and low-to-medium alcohol content. Some more specific ideas to pair with Bell's Octoberfest are:
* Pretzels with Beer Cheese
* Bratwurst - not a spicy one. It is very interesting how the flavor of the bratwurst changed with this beer!
* Roasted Chicken
