Jamie Bullock's Fight For Justice: Protestor Arrested Could Face 5 Years

On September 13th, I attended a community lead rally for 22 year-old Jamie Bullock. She was arrested last year during a Black Lives Matter protest and is now facing up to 5 years probation and a felony charge if convicted in October. Some of the Tampa community I spoke with is outraged and argue Jamie is innocent and say charging her is against her constitutional right to protest. Meanwhile, the district attorney's office argues the question at hand here is if Jamie intentionally struck someone she knew was an-on duty officer.

Jamie is asking the community to peacefully support her at her next court hearing on September 28th at the district court house and says you can stay up to date with her journey by following her on instagram @Jamiebullockk.
