SEBI Wants to Settle with Violators in 60 Days ONLY

So, if an individual or a company violates any rule or policy and wants to "settle" the case with the regulator then, as of now, they are given 180 days to clear the matter.

During this duration, the individual or company gets time to understand the case, investigate internally and come back with the response.

However, the regulator is now proposing a rule that would bring down that time period from 180 days to 60 days.
