A Louisiana State Trooper has been fired after he spoke out about the blatant racism and brutality that he has witnessed as a part of the system. The officer was black, and his punishment is harsher than what most white police officers receive for killing black people. This is a system that clearly cannot be reformed, and instead needs to be torn down and built in such a way that violent, racist individuals no longer feel at home. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Last week, a black Louisiana state trooper by the name of Carl cavalier received the letter, notifying him that he was being removed from the police force. And the reason is because he broke the rules by speaking to the media. And what did he speak to the media about? Well, I'm glad you asked. He spoke to the media about what he believes to be excessive use of force, essentially brutality in his department, along with racism that this man believes exists within his department, because he believes he has seen it specifically. What they were talking about was the case of Ronald Green. Green was a black man who died after he was beaten and dragged in his struggle with troopers. Police had initially reported green died in a car crash, but body camera footage that was leaked to the media showed otherwise cavalier gave interviews to local television stations in Louisiana indicating that he was disappointed. It required leaked body camera footage to get the department to discipline the officers involved in Green's deaths. And now he got fired.

The black officer who went and talked to the media and said, yeah, this is ridiculous that they murdered this black man. And then they lied about it and they tried to cover it up. That's ridiculous. And then the four says, Hey dude, you can't say that you're fired. He's fired. These officers murdered a man. And the guy that was mad about it is the one that gets fired. Don't come at me with this few bad apples talk anymore. Folks. There's not a few bad apples in law enforcement here in the United States. There's a few good apples. And now there's one less good apple, Mr. Cavalier, from everything I can tell did everything right?

He was a decent cop. He was one of the few good ones out there and he got fired for it. He got fired for being a good person. He got fired for doing the right thing. He got fired for calling out everything that we have been talking about. Everyone in the media has been talking about for years now. He doesn't have a job. This is a sick twisted system folks, and it cannot be reformed. It has to be torn down and built into something that actually works. Something that actually resembles justice here in the United States, because this ain't it. And if you think the situation is getting better than what it was a few years ago, then clearly you are not paying attention because again, did you hear the story of Mr. Ronald Greene getting dragged and beaten and murdered by police officers? Did you see body camera footage?

Because it was leaked. I'll be honest. I didn't, I didn't know any of this existed and had it not been reported that this officer got fired for speaking out about it. That is another black man dead at the hands of police officers that we wouldn't have even known about because we are becoming numb to these things, but it's not just a few bad apples. Most of them are bad apples at this point. And the only way to solve the problem is to throw out the entire bunch, rebuild the whole thing, and hopefully make it a place where racists and blatant, just angry, violent people, no longer feel like they have a home because that's the problem, the racist, the violent people. They feel that being on the police force, that's their home. They're welcomed there. Their views are welcome there. Black Cop Gets Immediately Fired For Calling Out Police Brutality And Racism
