My rode reel 2021 - NOT A JUNKY

Kayaking is so much more to me than a way to get an adrenaline rush. More often than not when mainstream media outlets pick up on kayaking, they dismiss us as crazy and label us as adrenaline junky’s. They don’t look beyond a cheap thrills news story or attempt to understand why we do what we do, much less a kayakers relationship with water. This video is an attempt to show the other side of that in the format of a short film that was entered into the rode reel film competition.
