The Andretti name will not be returning to Formula 1 as its interest in taking over the Sauber-run Alfa Romeo team is believed to have come to nothing.
Andretti had been keen to find a way into F1 and was pursuing a takeover of Sauber’s controlling company. But now we understand there will be no deal at all - and we explain why in this video.
