This is a movie recap of the 2018 movie Bird Box, a post-apocalyptic horror thriller film directed by Susanne Bier and starring Sandra Bulloch. The horror movie is based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Josh Malerman.
It is about single mom Malorie Hayes doing everything she can to get her two kids, Boy and Girl, to safety. But they have to navigate a long treacherous ride in a boat on a dangerous river to get there. Along the way, we get to see how Malorie got to that point in her life by following her to her doctor appointment at the hospital, where she begins to see the disaster unfolding before her very eyes.
