Shroud is Worried for TenZ

A throwback video to when Sentinels bought out TenZ from Cloud9 and Shroud expressing his concern and hoping TenZ was being paid properly for all he has done.

Shroud has said he is worried about Tenz and his current contract situation during a recent Twitch stream.

Shroud has revealed he’s concerned about Tenz, but not as a player who could go up against when he starts playing in VCT events. Shroud says he is afraid, given Tenz’s young age, the Sentinels newest pro might not have gotten a fair deal in the aftermath of Cloud9 selling his contract to his current team.

Tenz is one of the younger pros in competitive Valorant, but he is already one of the most successful by far, which is something Shroud can relate to during his time competing in CSGO. Shroud said he once signed a bad deal because he was too young to realize it and just signed a contract he shouldn’t have, and that he would never make that mistake again.

The Sentinels bought tenz contract by paying 1.25 million toCloud9, but that money was simply exchanged between the orgs. It’s unclear how much Tenz is actually making as a member of the Sentinels roster, and while you would assume it should be the biggest deal in Valorant given how well Tenz has performed, nothing is confirmed, which is one of the reasons that Shroud hopes Tenz won’t make the same mistakes he did as a young CSGO pro.
