
'This is also God's house': Gurugram Gurudwara criticised after opening its doors for namaz

From Govardhan pujas to inflammatory speeches, designated spots for #namaz in #Gurugram have been facing severe pushback from right-wing groups and locals. Among these cries of “land jihad” and “terrorism”, a gurudwara in Gurugram announced that #Muslims were free to come pray in its basement until the issue is resolved.
However, the gurudwara received pushback for its invitation. Newslaundry visited the premises in #SadarBazar on November 19, where namaz did not take place due to #Gurpurab. However, the message of #communal harmony rang loud and clear during conversations with #Sikh and #Muslim delegations.
