57,000 vehicles recalled in S. Korea due to safety issues

안전모드·배터리 결함…현대차·기아 등 8개사 5만7천대 리콜

Eight vehicle models are being recalled in South Korea due to various safety issues.
The Transport Ministry said Thursday... that the recall affects more than 57-thousand cars, vans and motorcycles.
The models include the Ioniq Electric from Hyundai Motor,... which has an issue with its driving assistance software that can result in accidents.
Also, the Kia Carnival minivan, whose doors have a problem that can cause them to open while the car's moving.
Those are the two main models affected.

Free repairs will be available starting this month.
