Published at : August 01, 2022
With prices on everything from food, gas and more climbing nearly 10 percent since last year, more and more Americans are having serious trouble making ends meet.
A new survey shows a majority of people — 51 percent — have little to no savings as a backup, and nearly half are racking up more debt to cover costs.
Others are turning to a side hustle. According to one study, one in three have started or plan to start a side gig. That's on top of the more than 40 percent of people who already have one.
The panel discusses the impact of inflation and the side hustles that can provide relief.
