I’ve loved cooking since a very young age. My grandmother was an amazing cook. She used to love experimenting with different recipes and different cuisines. She would always cook dinner for the whole family and would go all out for Christmas and Thanksgiving.
I used to spend a lot of time in the kitchen with her. My sister and all of our cousins would also help her out especially when she was making their favourite dishes but I was the only one who would consistently and regularly make dishes with her. She taught me how to make dishes that I still cook to this day, 15 years later. She shared her journal of recipes with me and told me about all the secret ingredients she used to make her delicious food. So ever since my childhood, due to my grandmother’s influence, I knew that I wanted to work in the food industry.
