Why Deathloop Is (Mostly) Not a Roguelike

Deathloop, the newest time-looping title by Arkane studios (published by Bethesda Softworks), looks, put simply, AMAZING. However, I've seen some talk going around about it being an amazing... roguelike. Deathloop is amazing, no doubt, but it is actually (mostly) not a roguelike, and in this video, I'll go over exactly why. And hopefully explain it well. No promises tho.
