@Cop Watch obtained body and dash camera footage of an incident that happened near Indian River County in Florida. James J. Tedesco IV, a retired NYFD member, was seen by an Indian River County Sheriff Deputy speeding with flashing red and blue lights on a Florida highway.

The deputy performed a traffic stop and questioned what Tedesco was doing. He explained he was responding to a fire call in Miami. The story changed a few times. Tedesco asked for a break in the violations because he was a 9/11 fire fighter. The Deputy called a NYPD Fire Station supervisor who confirmed James did not start at NYPD until 2003 well after 9/11 and was medically retired in 2018.

Deputies searched his vehicle and found:
NYPD Police jacket
DEA Hat
Two AR-15s
1,139 rounds of ammo
Fire uniform equipment
An ounce of pot
Brass knuckles

Tedesco is charged with impersonating a police officer and possession of marijuana.
