
Taliban Vs Haqqanis: ISI Chief tries to resolve Taliban infighting

As per the latest reports on the Taliban Afghan leadership, the ISI chief visited Kabul to attend a meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to resolve the infighting that is currently going on within two groups Baradar group and the Haqqani network. According to the sources, both of them are against each other over the new governance of Afghanistan. The ISI Chief is trying to act as a troubleshooter. The ISI Chief also met the prominent group Hizb-e-Islami Chief. The group is headed by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, former prime minister of Afghanistan. The meeting between Hizb-e-Islami Chief and ISI Chief has sparked a lot of concerns. The Pakistani Army Chief also said that they would help the Taliban with the government formation in Afghanistan.
